She's here and she's already 8 weeks old! Time flies when you have a newborn and a revved up toddler like SA. Anyway, the multiethnic coffee went very well. I had a wonderful time visiting with all of my friends here. Then CG came 2 weeks early on Tuesday, September 25th! She weighede in at 3.550 kilos (7 lbs. 13 oz.) and 49 cm (19 in.). We had a long 6 day stretch in the hospital full of challenging experiences, but we made it. She is safe, healthy, and happy, and so am I. D did a great job of taking care of us for a couple of weeks, then I had a week and a half of the 2 girls on my own. Then Nini arrived! The travelling grandma- what would all of us do without her? She is wonderful- playing with SA, rocking CG, doing laundry despite the cross-cultural challenges, and babysitting while I run errands or have an unusual night out with D (and CG). I am blessed and so thankful this Thanksgiving. Yes, I know it was yesterday for most of you, but it will be tomorrow for us. :) Stay tuned for Turkey Tales 2007!

She's precious! I was so excited to see a picture of her. I've kept checking for one periodically. Does she look like SA did? I'm glad to hear that you all are doing well.
Our new baby girl arrived on Nov. 1. She was 16 days early and weighed 8lbs. 8 oz. She is our biggest and earliest. She had some breathing problems about 6 hours after her birth and ended up in the NICU for a week. It was pretty scary at first and very hard to not be able to bring her home when I came home. I also ended up sick during that week and couldn't go see her for 3 days. That's behind us now though. She has fully recovered and has been home for 2 weeks now. They think she either had Strep B or had problems due to immature lungs or a combination of the two.
I keep planning to call you, but things have been a little crazy. I'm trying to focus on W and M when I can and sleep as much as I can. Has SA enjoyed CG? How has she reacted? I'd love to see more pictures if you can e-mail or post more. I'll send you some too. Love you and am so happy for you!

I'm so glad to see a photo of the little muffin! Like APB, I've been checking your blog for weeks, so I was overjoyed to see this post! I'm so glad C is there--I know she's a big help, and good for some baby talk, too. :)

This picture is so beautiful! Look at that sweet face! Lydie is so jealous of that lovely head of hair! :) I am very excited for a picture! I have checked faithfully almost every day since D's email! Post more! Hope you all are adjusting well. Going from 1 to 2 children was the hardest adjustment for me for some reason. I hope you will find it smooth and natural. She really is a beauty!
